Deutsch: Im Jahre 1093 wird mit Matilde de Horeburc (Gemahlin des Grafen Kuno von Lechsgemünd) der Name der Burganlage erstmals erwähnt. Danach wurde die Burg erst wieder Mitte des 12. Jhd im Zusammenhang mit den Machtansprüchen der Staufer erwähnt. 1418 wurde wegen besonderer Verdienste der Grafen von Oettingen von Kaiser Sigmund die Burg als Eigentum bestätigt. Durch das Aussterben der Oettinger Linie im Jahre 1731 geht die Burg in den Besitz der Oettinger/Wallerstein über, die noch heute im Besitz der Anlage sind. Die Burg liegt hoch über der Stadt Harburg an der Wörnitz in Schwaben. Sie ist zufuß und mit dem Auto zu erreichen und für Besucher geöffnet. Die Burgführung, die mehrmals am Tag angeboten wird, ist besonders zu empfehlen, weil sehr informativ.
