Plocosperma, monotipski biljni rod smješten u vlastitu porodicu Plocospermataceae, red medićolike. Jedina vrsta je P. buxifolium, srednjoamerička vrsta iz meksičkih država Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacan, Oaxaca, Puebla i Veracruz, te iz Gvatemale, Nikaragve i Kostarike.[1]
