तलवाड़ा झील
तलवारा झील एक छोटी सी झील है जो राजस्थान के हनुमानगढ़ ज़िले में घग्गर-हकरा नदी के मार्ग में एक द्रोणी में पानी भर जाने से मानसून की बारिशों के दौरान बन जाती है।[1] सन् १३९८-९९ ईसवी में जब तैमूर ने मध्य एशिया से आकर भारत पर हमला किया था तो हनुमानगढ़ के भटनेर क़िले पर क़ब्ज़ा करने के बाद वह यहाँ कुछ देर के लिए सस्ताया था।[1] हनुमानगढ़ ज़िला थार के रेगिस्तान में होने के कारण एक बहुत ही शुष्क इलाक़ा था और कहा जाता है कि यह मौसमी सरोवर इस ज़िले की इकलौती झील है।[2] घग्गर नदी के मार्ग में यह हरियाणा के सिरसा ज़िले के ओटू वीयर (बाँध) के आगे पड़ती है।
