וורוניקה "רנדי" קרופורד (באנגלית: Randy Crawford, נולדה ב-18 בפברואר 1952) היא זמרת ג'אז ורית'ם אנד בלוז ילידת מייקון, ג'ורג'יה, ארצות הברית.

ביוגרפיה

קרופורד החלה את הקריירה שלה בהופעה במועדונים מסינסינטי ועד סנט טרופה. היא זכתה לפרסום כאשר הופיעה באמצע שנות ה-70 בניו יורק לצד זמרי הג'אז ג'ורג' בנסון וקנונבול אדרלי. לאחר מכן הייתה הזמרת הראשית בלהיט הרית'ם אנד בלוז של הקרוסיידרס Street Life בשנת 1979. בשנת 1980 הוציאה את אחד מלהיטיה הגדולים, One Day I'll Fly Away.

אלבומה Secret Combination שהה יותר מששים שבועות במצעד האלבומים של המגזין בילבורד בשנת 1981. קרופורד חזרה למצעדים בשנת 1986 עם הסינגל "אלמאז", שהיה בין עשרת הגדולים.

קרופורד ידועה, בין היתר, בשל גרסאות כיסוי לשירים Purple Rain, Holding Back the Years, Captain of Her Heart, Wishing on a Star, All I Do, Foolish Heart, Knockin on Heaven's Door,Give Me the Night ועוד רבים אחרים.
