עיר לוויין
עיר לוויין היא עיר שצמודה לעיר־אם של מטרופולין.[1][2] לעיר לוויין יש שלטון מוניציפלי משלה ומרכזי תעסוקה עצמאיים בניגוד לפרוור או עיר שינה. ראשון לציון, לדוגמה, היא אחת מערי הלוויין של תל אביב-יפו, עיר־האם של המטרופולין גוש דן.
