An zaɓe shi a matsayin Mafi Darakta a Kyautar Fina-Finan Afirka a 2006 da 2008, kuma ya lashe kyautar Darakta na shekara a 2011 Best of Nollywood Awards. A shekarar 2012 ne shugaban Najeriya Goodluck Jonathan ya yi masa ado a matsayin memba na kundin tsarin mulkin Tarayyar Najeriya.[1][2][3] Ya fara aikinsa a matsayin jarumi a shekarar 1994 kafin ya sauya sheka zuwa samarwa da bada umarni.
