O panindianismo é unha ideoloxía política que promove a unidade, e até certo punto a homoxeneización, entre os diferentes pobos indíxenas dos Estados Unidos, as Primeiras Nacións, os pobos inuit e os métis, independentemente das distincións tribais e das diferenzas culturais.[1]

Este enfoque da organización política está asociado principalmente coa organización dos nativos americanos para a xustiza social e a revitalización cultural nos Estados Unidos continentais, mais tamén se estendeu a outras comunidades indíxenas. Os inuit e os métis poden considerarse parte da comunidade panaborixe máis ampla, ou algunha variación desta.[2] Algúns académicos tamén usaron o termo panamerindianismo para distinguir doutros pobos coñecidos como "indios".[3] Algunhas organizacións pan-indias buscan xuntar os recursos dos grupos indíxenas para protexer os intereses dos pobos nativos de todo o mundo.[4]
