O Masacre de Nanjing, tamén coñecida como Violación de Nanjing, foi un episodio durante a Segunda guerra sino-xaponesa de asasinatos en masa e violacións levado a cabo polas tropas xaponesas contra a poboación de Nanjing, daquela capital da República da China. O masacre ocorreu durante seis semanas que comezaron o 13 de decembro de 1937, o día no que os xaponeses capturaron Nanjing. Durante este período, os soldados do Exército Imperial Xaponés asasinaron civís chineses desarmados, en cantidades que roldan dende as 40 000 até as 300 000 persoas,[1][2] e levaron a cabo violacións e saqueos masivos.[3][4]
