A lingua dzongkha (རྫོང་ཁ་; transliterado: rdzong-kha, Dzongkha[2]), ocasionalmente Ngalopkha ("lingua do pobo ngalop"), é a lingua nacional de Bután.[3] A palabra "dzongkha" significa a lingua (kha) falada en dzong "fortalezas". A arquitectura dzong a xeito de fortalezas é característica dos mosteiros creados a través de Bután polo seu unificador, Ngawang Namgyal, o primeiro Zhabdrung Rinpoche, no século XVII.
