L‘United Wa State Army couramment abréviée UWSA, est une organisation armée active en Birmanie de la minorité ethnique Wa ; elle compte
environ 30 000 hommes[1]. Les membres dirigés par Bao Youxiang défendent l'État Wa que le gouvernement de Birmanie ne reconnait pas. L'UWSA est la branche armée de l'United Wa State Party (en) (UWSP), parti constitué après l'interdiction du Parti communiste de Birmanie en 1989[2].
