Albert Schweitzer
Albert Schweitzer, né le à Kaysersberg et mort le à Lambaréné au Gabon, est un théologien protestant, musicien organiste, philosophe et médecin. Connu pour son éthique du respect de la vie, pour son hôpital fondé en 1913 à Lambaréné, au Gabon, ainsi que pour ses travaux sur Bach et ses interprétations à l'orgue, Albert Schweitzer fut lauréat du prix Goethe en 1928 et du prix Nobel de la paix en 1952.
