Les Azhdarchoidea forment une super-famille éteinte de ptérosaures rattachés au sous-ordre des Pterodactyloidea[2]. Ils ont vécu au cours du Crétacé.

Classification

Les Azhdarchoidea sont définis comme le groupe phylogénétique regroupant tous les descendants du dernier ancêtre commun des genres Quetzalcoatlus et Tapejara[3].

La phylogénie des Azhdarchoidea est encore très débattue comme en témoignent deux études publiées en 2014.
