Jamy Amarilis Franco Núñez, née le dans le département de Santa Rosa, est une athlète guatémaltèque, spécialiste de la marche.

- La Russe Olga Kaniskina, initialement médaillée d'argent, est suspendue en 2016 pour dopage par le Tribunal arbitral du sport. Un nouveau classement est officialisé, qui ne tient pas compte de la Russe, les marcheuses qui la suivaient au classement remontent d'un rang. Franco passe ainsi de la 31e à la 30e place[1].
