L'hydroxypyruvate réductase (HPR) est une oxydoréductase qui catalyse les réactions :

hydroxypyruvate + NADH + H⁺  ${\displaystyle \rightleftharpoons }$  D-glycérate + NAD⁺ ;

hydroxypyruvate + NADPH + H⁺  ${\displaystyle \rightleftharpoons }$  D-glycérate + NADP⁺.

Cette enzyme intervient notamment chez les plantes dans la photorespiration au sein des peroxysomes.
