- Le SOS est un signal de détresse dise Sauvez vos âmes, utilisé souvent sur le Code Morse (son).

Tout sauf vrai. "Save our souls" (Sauvez nos âmes) à la rigueur, et encore ce ne serait qu'une rétroacronymie ("SOS" est allemand à la base).
