Cymbiapophysa otongachi est une espèce d'araignées mygalomorphes de la famille des Theraphosidae[1].
Distribution
[modifier | modifier le code]Cette espèce est endémique de la province de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas en Équateur[1],[2]. Elle se rencontre vers Santo Domingo.
Description
[modifier | modifier le code]Le mâle holotype mesure 27,3 mm et la femelle paratype 36,6 mm[2].
Systématique et taxinomie
[modifier | modifier le code]Cette espèce a été décrite par Peñaherrera-R., Ghía, Sherwood et Gabriel en 2024.
Étymologie
[modifier | modifier le code]Son nom d'espèce lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, la réserve naturelle Otongachi.
