Le Calliste argenté (Tangara viridicollis), également appelé Tangara argenté, est une espèce d'oiseaux de la famille des Thraupidae.
Répartition
[modifier | modifier le code]Cet oiseau se reproduit en Bolivie, Équateur et Pérou.
Habitat
[modifier | modifier le code]C'est un habitant des forêts des plaines tropicales et subtropicales des forêts sèches des montagnes tropicales et subtropicales du continent américain. On peut aussi le trouver dans les zones où la forêt a été dégradée par la présence humaine.
Sous-espèces
[modifier | modifier le code]D'après la classification de référence (version 5.2, 2015) du Congrès ornithologique international, cette espèce est constituée des deux sous-espèces suivantes :
- Tangara viridicollis viridicollis : du centre de Pérou à l'ouest de la Bolivie
- Tangara viridicollis fulvigula : sud de l'Équateur et nord du Pérou
