Varakkaaseen Astorin sukuun kuuluneen Caroline Astorin seurapiirijuhlat New Yorkissa vuonna 1902.

Seurapiiri tai seurapiirit tarkoittaa varsinkin julkisuuden henkilöiden muodostamaa joukkoa, joka seurustelee keskenään ja näyttäytyy usein arvostetuissa ja julkisuutta saavissa huvitilaisuuksissa ja muissa sen kaltaisissa tilaisuuksissa.[1]

Suihkuseurapiiri eli jet set tai jetsetti on varakkaiden ja menevien ihmisten kansainvälinen seurapiiri.[2] Nimitys viittaa 1960-luvulla yleistyneisiin suihkulentokoneisiin, joilla lenneltiin mantereelta toiselle.[3]
