Richard John Roberts (s. 6. syyskuuta 1943) on brittiläinen biokemisti, joka sai vuonna 1993 Nobelin lääketieteen palkinnon yhdessä Phillip Allen Sharpin kanssa geenejä koskevasta tutkimuksesta.[1] Vuonna 2007 hänelle myönnettiin Gabor-mitali kansainvälisesti merkittävästä silmukointia koskevasta tutkimuksesta.[2]
