Peter Francis Straub (2. maaliskuuta 1943 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Yhdysvallat – 4. syyskuuta 2022[1][2]) oli yhdysvaltalainen kauhukirjailija.[3] Hän opiskeli Wisconsinin yliopistossa englantia ja työskenteli opettajana. Hän asui Dublinissa ja Lontoossa palaten takaisin Yhdysvaltoihin perheensä kanssa vuonna 1979. Hän kirjoitti myös runoja. Straubin kirjallinen läpimurto tapahtui vuoden 1975 kauhuromaanilla Julia.[2] Straub sai World Fantasy -palkinnon[4][5] sekä Bram Stoker -palkinnon useaan kertaan.[6][5]
