Pendentiivi on arkkitehtuurissa kolmiomainen ja kaareva holvin osa, joka liittää pyöreän tai monikulmaisen kupolin alla olevaan neliömäiseen tilaan.[1] Pendentiivin rakenteellisena tehtävänä on ohjata kupolin paino neljään kulmaan, tukipilarien varaan. Pendentiivit ovat tunnusomaisia Bysantin arkkitehtuurille, ja ne ovat tyypillisiä myös renessanssin ja barokin aikana rakennetuissa kirkoissa.
