Manhattan Community District 9

Manhattan Community District 9 on New Yorkin Manhattanin saaren hallinnollinen osa-alue (Community District), johon kuuluu Hamilton Heights, Manhattanville ja Morningside Heights. Alue sijaitsee manhattanin saaren länsilaidalla, Keskuspuiston pohjoispuolella. Columbian yliopisto toimii tällä alueella, samoin Manhattan School of Music ja City college of NY.
Vuonna 2000 alueella asui 111 724 henkeä. Sen väkiluku oli kymmenessä vuodessa kasvanut. Asukkaista 17,8% laskettiin "white non-hispanic" -ryhmään, eli valkoisiin, joilla ei ole latinalaisamerikkalaista taustaa. Ulkoimailla syntyneitä on 35,7% asukkaista, suurin osa heistä on kotoisin Latinalaisesta Amerikasta.[1]
