Howard Sounes (s. 1965 Welling, Iso-Britannia) on brittiläinen kirjailija ja journalisti.

Hän on kirjoittanut elämäkerrat Paul McCartneystä, Bob Dylanista ja Charles Bukowskista. Vuonna 2013 ilmestynyt teos Amy, 27 kertoo kuudesta muusikosta, jotka kuolivat 27-vuotiaina: Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones ja Kurt Cobain.[1]
