Vietnamin laivasto ja sen tukikohdat, Cam Ranhin lahti maan kaakkoisosassa.

Cam Ranhin lahti on merenlahti Vietnamissa, noin 290 km koilliseen Ho Chi Minhin kaupungista. Lahtea on käytetty useasti laivastotukikohtana.

Venäjän laivasto käytti Cam Ranhin lahtea tukikohtanaan ennen vuoden 1905 Tsushiman salmen taistelua,[1] jossa japanilaiset upottivat Venäjän vastaisessa sodassa merkittävän osan Tyynellemerelle siirrettyä Venäjän Itämeren laivastoa. Vuonna 1942 lahti toimi Japanin laivaston tukikohtana ennen sen Malesiaan suuntaunutta hyökkäystä.[1] Vietnamin sodan aikana alue palveli Yhdysvaltain käyttämänä tukikohtana ja Yhdysvaltain poistuttua sitä hyödynsi Neuvostoliitto.
