American Psychiatric Association eli APA (suom. Yhdysvaltain psykiatrinen yhdistys) on merkittävä yhdysvaltalainen psykiatrien ammatillinen järjestö, jolla on maailmalla laajaa vaikutusvaltaa. Sen 38 000 suuruinen jäsenistö koostuu pääasiassa yhdysvaltalaisista psykiatreista, mutta jäsenistöön kuuluu myös ammattilaisia muista maista. Se julkaisee useita aikakausjulkaisuja ja kansainvälisessä käytössä olevaa diagnostiikan käsikirjaa Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, joka yleisemmin tunnetaan lyhenteenä DSM.

APA on myös American Psychological Associationin lyhenne.
