  • همهٔ محتوای نوشتار باید اثبات‌پذیر باشد، بدین معنی که حمایت با منبع قابل اعتماد ممکن باشد.
  • همه گفتاوردها و همه موادی که اثبات‌پذیری آنها به چالش کشیده شده‌است یا احتمال دارد به چالش کشیده‌شود باید شامل یک یادکرد درون‌خطی باشند.
  • یادکردهای درون‌خطی میان برچسب‌های <ref> و </ref>، پس از حقیقتی که از آن حمایت می‌کنند اضافه می‌شوند.
  • برچسب ((پانویس)) یا <references /> باید جایی در نوشتار برای نشان داده‌شدن یادکردهای درون‌خطی عادی وجود داشته‌باشد.
  • نوارابزار ارجاع می‌تواند برای آسان‌تر افزودن یادکردها، با کلیک روی «یادکرد» در نوارابزار بالای پنجرهٔ ویرایش استفاده شود.
