بوتیریل‌کولین‌استراز
بوتیریل‌کولین‌استراز (نماد HGNC BCHE ; EC 3.1.1.8)، که همچنین به عنوان BChE , BuChE، سودوکولین استراز یا پلاسما (کولین) استراز شناخته می‌شود،[۴] یک آنزیم کولین استراز غیر اختصاصی است که بسیاری از استرهای مختلف مبتنی بر کولین را هیدرولیز می‌کند. این آنزیم در انسان، در کبد ساخته می‌شود و عمدتاً در پلاسمای خون یافت می‌شود و توسط ژن BCHE کدگذاری می‌شود.[۵]
این آنزیم بسیار شبیه به استیل کولین استراز عصبی است که به عنوان RBC یا کولین استراز گلبول قرمز نیز شناخته می‌شود.[۶] اصطلاح «کولین استراز سرم» به‌طور کلی در اشاره به یک آزمایش بالینی استفاده می‌شود که سطح هر دوی این آنزیم‌ها را در خون نشان می‌دهد.[۶] سنجش فعالیت بوتیریل کولین استراز در پلاسما را می‌توان به عنوان آزمون عملکرد کبد استفاده کرد زیرا هم هیپرکولین استرازمی و هم هیپوکولین استرازمی نشان دهنده فرآیندهای پاتولوژیک هستند. نیمه عمر BCHE تقریباً ۱۰ تا ۱۴ روز است.[۷]
بوتیریل کولین یک ترکیب مصنوعی است که به‌طور طبیعی در بدن وجود ندارد و به عنوان ابزاری برای تمایز بین استیل کولین استراز و بوتیریل کولین استراز استفاده می‌شود.
نقش فیزیولوژیکی
