Itsasoa

Mediterraneoak inguratzen du lurralde osoaua. Iparraldeko zatiak Liguriako itsasoa izena hartzen du eta mendebaldekoak Tirreno. Bertan daude bi uharte nagusiak: Sardinia eta Sizilia. Ekialdean, Itsaso Adriatikoa dago eta hego-ekialdean, Itsaso Jonikoa.

Mendiak

Iparraldean Alpeak daude: ekialdeko muturrean, Dolomitak haren partea dira.

Monte Bianco edo Mont Blanc (4.808 metro) da mendirik altuena. Haren ondoren, Cervino edo Matterhorn (4.478 m), Gran Paradiso (4.061 m), Ortler (3.905 m), Monte Viso (3.841 m), Presanella (3.558 m) eta Marmolada (3.343 m) dira garaienak. Gainera, bi sumendi ezagun daude bertan: Napoli ondoko Vesuvio eta Siziliako Etna.

Ibaiak eta lakuak

Bestela, Po ibaia herrialdeko luzeena da (652 km). Eta lakuei dagokienez, Gardakoa, Maggiore eta Comokoa handienak dira eta Alpeetako eskualdean kokatuta daude.
