Coulomben legea

Coulomben legeak hau dio:

« Bi objektu kargadunen indar elektrikoa beren arteko distantziaren karratuaren alderantzizkoa da. »
Coulomben legea modu sinplean azalduta.

Legea

Coulomben tortsio balantza.

Lege hau 1785an Charles-Augustin de Coulomb fisikariak eman zuen lehenbiziko aldiz ezagutzera. Tortsio-balantza batez, Coulombek honako hau topatu zuen: karga puntualen arteko erakarpen edo aldarapen indarrak euren arteko r distantziaren karratuarekiko alderantziz proportzionalak direla (gorputz kargatuak txikiak badira, hau da, euren neurriak arbuiagarriak badira distantziarekin konparatuta).

honetan:

indarra da,
lehenbiziko karga puntuala da,
bigarren karga puntuala da,
bi karga puntualen arteko distantzia da,
8.988×109 N m2 C-2 (baita m F-1 ere), konstante elektrostatikoa da, eta
8.854×10−12 C2 N-1 m-2 (baita F m-1 ere), hutsaren permitibitatea da, honi konstante elektrikoa ere deritzo, azken hau fisika konstante oso garrantzitsua delarik.
