Bretoiak edo bretainiarrak Bretainian bizi den etnia da. IV. eta VI. mendeen artean hego-mendebaldeko Bretainia Handitik Armorikara emigraturiko britainiar edo britoi herrien ondorengoak dira[1]. Jatorrizko hizkuntza bretainiera (brezhoneg) dute, egun 365.000 hiztun inguru dituena[2]. Ekialdeko Bretainian galoz ere egiten dute.
