Szamotuły (saksa Samter) on linn Poolas Suur-Poola vojevoodkonnas, Szamotuły maakonna ja Szamotuły valla halduskeskus. Szamotuły asub Poznańi kesklinnast 32 km loodes.
Szamotułyt on esmamainitud 1231. aastal, linnaõigused sai ajavahemikul 1394–1398. Kuni 17. sajandini oli linn Szamotulskite perekonna omanduses ja kujunes oluliseks käsitöö ja kaubanduse keskuseks. 16. sajandil oli Szamotuły tähtsaim protestantismi keskus Suur-Poolas. 17. sajandi keskpaiku Poola-Rootsi sõja ajal hävis linn peaaegu täielikult. Teise Poola jagamise tulemusel läks linn 1793. aastal Preisi kuningriigi võimu alla (vahepeal oli aastatel 1807–1815 Varssavi hertsogiriigi koosseisus). Raudteeühenduse sai Szamotuły 1848. aastal. 19. sajandi teisel poolel kujunes linn poola rahvusliku liikumise üheks keskuseks Suur-Poolas. Tagasi Poolale läks linn 1919. aastal.[1][2]
