Hõbetäht

Hõbetäht (inglise keeles: Silver Star) on USA tähtsuselt kolmas sõjaline teenetemärk, mida antakse USA armees töötavale isikule vapruse eest lahingus USA vaenlase vastu.

Teenetemärk asutati 1932. Teenetemärgi saanud inimeste täpne arv pole teada, kuid USA Kaitseministeerium arvab, et teenetemärgi on saanud 100 000 – 150 000 isikut. Teadaolevalt on Hõbetähtede rekord David Hackworthi käes, kes Korea ja Vietnami sõja ajal teenis 10 Hõbetähte.
