Presidendi Vabadusmedal

Presidendi Vabadusmedal (Presidential Medal of Freedom) on Ameerika Ühendriikide teenetemärk, mille annab president inimestele, kel on erilisi teeneid riigi huvide või julgeoleku ees või on andnud erilise panuse maailmarahusse, kultuuri ja muusse silmapaistvasse valdkonda.[1]

Presidendi Vabadusmedal ja Kongressi kuldmedal on Ameerika Ühendriikide kõrgeimad teenetemärgid. Vabadusmedali võib anda ka välismaalastele ning kuigi see on tsiviilauhind, saab seda anda ka sõjaväelastele.

Teenetemärgi asutas 1963. aastal president John F. Kennedy.

Vabadusmedali on teiste hulgas saanud ka mitmed USA presidendid:
