Nevel

Nevel on linn Venemaal Pihkva oblasti lõunaosas, Neveli rajooni keskus. Asub Valgevene piiri lähedal Pihkvast 240 km lõunas.

Nevelit on esmamainitud 1503. aastal, kuulus korduvalt ka Poolale ja Leedule. Linnaõigused sai 1772. aastal.

Linnas on õmblusvabrik, piimakombinaat, aparaaditehas ja jalatsivabrik.

1989. aastal oli linnas 22 368 elanikku, 2021. aastal 14 241.
