Hans-Ulrich Niemitz (22. november 1946 Berliin – 2. november 2010 Berliin) oli saksa professor ja vandenõuteoreetik, kes väitis, et osa varakeskajast on välja mõeldud.

Niemitz väitis, et 7. sajandi lõpus otsustas Saksa-Rooma keiser Otto III kalendrit 300 aasta võrra edasi nihutada. Nimelt olevat Otto III soovinud elada 1000. aastal pKr. Niisiis pole Niemitzi järgi ühtlasi kunagi elanud Frangi riigi kuningat Karl Suurt. Niemitzi teooria kohaselt on praegu seega 18. sajand.
