Eleja on küla (lielciems) Lätis Jelgava piirkonnas. Eleja valla halduskeskus.

Asulas asub Eleja mõisa (Elley) süda. Lisaks on seal veel raamatukogu, keskkool, luteri kirik.

Esimest korda on Elejat mainitud kümnendal sajandil. Mõis pärineb 16. sajandist. Aastal 1915 rajati asulast mööda raudtee, selle äärde rajati Meitene raudteejaam. Jaam asus Vilkudārzsi külas, mis liideti Elejaga aastal 1936.

Aastail 1949–1956 oli Eleja samanimelise rajooni keskus. Aastail 1950–1991 oli Eleja alev.
