Danuta Bieńkowska

Danuta Bieńkowska (31. jaanuar 1920 Vilnius20. august 1992 Varssavi) oli poola lastekirjanik ja tõlkija. Ta tõlkis rumeenia keelest.

Danuta Bieńkowska lõpetas Bukaresti Ülikooli meditsiiniteaduskonna, oli teaduste doktor.

Aastail 1946–1953 elas ja töötas Wrocławis, 1954. aastast Varssavis.

Kirjandusdebüüdi tegi 1946. aastal näidendiga "Krzysztof".

Danuta Bieńkowska tõlkis rumeenia keelest Rumeenia kultuuri ja ajalugu käsitlenud raamatud "Rumunia od Trajana do demokracji ludowej" (Varssavi 1953), "Gwardia Archanioła" (Varssavi 1960) ja "Michał Waleczny" (Katowice 1975).

Aastal 1975 sai ta Poola skaudiliikumise – hartserite – preemia (poola keeles Harcerska Nagroda Literacka). Raamatu "Daniel na Saharze" eest kanti 1986. aastal Danuta Bieńkowska IBBY (Rahvusvaheline Noorsookirjanduse Nõukogu) aunimekirja.

Eesti keeles tema raamatuid seni ilmunud ei ole.
