Üheemakase viirpuu abilehtedega lehed

Abilehed (ladina stipulae) on leherootsu alusel (leherootsu varrele kinnitumise koht) olevad lehesarnased väljakasved, lehtedest enamasti palju väiksemad, harva suuremad.

Reeglina ei oma abilehed fotosünteesijana tähtsust. Siis on nad väikesed, vähemärgatavad, varakult varisevad (näiteks tamm, kask). Suured abilehed on olulised fotosünteesi toimumise kohad ning püsivad taimel kogu elu (näiteks aedhernel). Abilehtede hulka loetakse ka keeleke, mis on iseloomulik kõrrelistele.

Mõningatel taimederühmadel (näiteks kõrrelistel) võivad abilehed olla kokku kasvanud, ehk moodustada tõri.
