Žovkva

Žovkva (poola Żółkiew) on linn Ukraina Lvivi oblastis Lvivi rajoonis. Kuni 2020. aastani oli linn Žovkva rajooni halduskeskus. 1951–1992 kandis nime Nesterov. Žovkva asub Lvivist umbes 25 km põhjas.

Linn on asutatud 1597. aastal, linnaõigused sai 1603. Linn kujunes tunnustatud käsitöökeskuseks. 17. sajandil oli Poola kuninga Jan III Sobieski residentslinn.

Ukraina 2001. aasta rahvaloenduse andmetel oli Žovkva elanikest ukrainlasi 97,50%, venelasi 1,98%, poolakaid 0,17% ja valgevenelasi 0,16.[2]
