«La isla de la inspiración»

Tasmania es un estado insular de Australia, siendo el más pequeño de todos en cuanto a superficie. Su capital se encuentra en la ciudad de Hobart, la cual es también la más poblada del estado. Toma su nombre del explorador neerlandés Abel Tasman. Asimismo, Tasmania es el estado menos poblado y el más meridional de Australia.

El apodo del estado es el de «la isla de la inspiración» (en inglés: Island of Inspiration) o «el estado natural» (en inglés: Natural State).
