Richard Bowdler SHARPE (n. 22-a de novembro de 1847 - 25-a de decembro de 1909) estis angla zoologo.

Sharpe naskiĝis en Londono kaj studis en Brighton, Peterborough kaj Loughborough. Je la aĝo de dek ses laboris ĉe Smith & Sons en Londono. En 1864 komencis lian unuan laboron ornitologan, nome monografio pri alcionoj (1868-71).

En 1867 Sharpe akiris la postenon de bibliotekisto de la Zoologia Societo de Londono, rekomendita de Osbert Salvin kaj Philip Sclater. Post la morto de George Robert Gray en 1872 eniris al la Brita Muzeo kiel Plej granda Helpanto en la Sekcio de Zoologio, komisiante pri la kolekto de birdoj. Estis la Helpa Gardisto en 1895, kaj restis tie ĝis sia morto (pro pulmito).

Sharpe Fondis en 1892 la nun faman asocion British Ornithologists' Club kaj ĝi reviziis la bultenon kiun tiu eldonas. Li verkis dek tri (preskaŭ la duonon) de la 27 volumoj de la Katalogo de la Birdoj en la brita Muzeo (1874-1898).
