  • alte aktivaj — ekzemple forbrulinta nuklea bruligaĵo aŭ restaĵoj post ties alilaborigo

Laŭ deveno de la rubo oni eblas dividi ĝin:

  • Forbrulinta nuklea bruligaĵo — kiu estas deponata post eluzo en nukleja elektrejoj kaj poste ĝi estas deponita en ŝirmajn kontenerojn en subterejo. Fakte ne temas pri rubo, ĉar eblas ties plua eluzo.
  • Restaĵoj el diagnostiko en sansistemo — resta materialo el sansistemo uzita dum diagnostiko aŭ dum kuracado de malsanoj — radiologio (ekz.: gama tranĉilo)
