Princo Nikolaus la 1-a de Esterhazy

La Missa Sancti Nicolai (eo: Nikolaia meso) en G-maĵoro estas la sesa meso de Joseph Haydn. Onidire li prezentis ĝin unuan fojon la 6an de decembro 1772 je la nomfesto de Nikolaus Esterhazy. Eble li skribis ĝin post la „adiaŭa simfonio“ kvazaŭ kiel danko al princo Esterhazy. Krome Haydn verkis la meson ene de trege mallonga tempo. Tial la „Dona nobis pacem“ havas la saman melodion kiel la „Kyrie“. En la originalaj voĉoj Haydn skribis nur „Kyrie“ kun teksto de „Dona nobis pacem“.

Li skribis la meson por ĥoro, solokvarteto, arĉinstrumentoj, 2 hobojoj, 2 kornoj, fagoto kaj orgeno. Ĝi konsistas el:
