- A renomination since the first nomination didn't receive much attention. A noticably more modern painting than many other recent painting noms (though again by a very notable artist) of a rather curious looking nobleman who is known for his political service and academic writings.

- Support. I find the composition slightly awkward, what we'd now call a bad crop (a bit too much headroom), and he's a bit of a pasty fellow (so I hope colour balance is right), but overall it's probably up to the grade. --jjron (talk) 12:33, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
