If you can find Japanese sources, please add them. They do not write as much about this topic as Koreans do; the problem is compounded by a Korean editor who translates mass amounts of Korean documents for these articles. Shii (tock) 23:31, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Dokdo(독도) is an island placed in west side of Ulleungdo(울릉도) which is known as Usan-do(우산도). Usan-do(우산도) is a nonexistent island described in old Korean map(八道總圖). This article is obviously describing about Takeshima(타케시마) which is placed in east side of Ulleungdo(울릉도). Takeshima(타케시마) is a real island Administrated by South Korea since 1952(Syngman_Rhee_Line).
