Hi, I'm Geoff Riley... been reading for years, and finally taken the plunge when I saw some vandalism on the Noel Edmunds page --- I reverted that, then started looking at what else that address had been editing and began reverting other vandalism.... until I realised I'd reverted the wrong version of a couple of pages. I fixed that and realised the need for much more care... if you're new, learn by my mistakes!

I live in Lymm in Cheshire (north west of England) and have been here for 20 years or so. This being the case I shall try to expand on these areas.

I am a Christian and am a member of the Anglican church in the Diocese of Chester, so that is another area for possible attention.

I am studying with the Open University, working towards a computing degree; this is a very enjoyable --- albeit time-consuming --- method of study that I would recommend to anyone looking for any extra learning: you don't have to be working towards a qualification.

Shortlived RfA: I honestly thought that I might have been useful as an administrator, however after the first couple of comments I realised that my idea was ill founded, hence the withdrawal. Geoff Riley 21:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
