Just to give notice that I'm not going to contribute anymore to Wikipedia - it is simply not what I'm looking for in an encyclopedia. Wikipedia's standard isn't truth - it is verifiability. Couple that with the nature of Wikipedia and it means that when Wikipedia is presented with a choice between a verifiable popular fact, and a verifiable true fact, that are in conflict with each other, the popular fact will probably always win out.

Also, of particular concern for me is its hostility towards experts, as I have quite a bit of (amateur) expertise.
