Shadow has done photography for as long as he could remember, but never really started getting into it until July of 2023. He went to a summer camp called C.A.K.E which was a 4 week camp at a dance studio. C.A.K.E allowed someone to pick 5 classes (known as periods) on what they wanted to do, and Shadow decided to pick a photography intro to do as his 3rd period. In the class they mostly didn't teach anything too extreme, but Shadow got to learn how to shoot on a Canon EOS 60D. From doing the class he found a new passion for photography.

In early August he got a Google Pixel 3a to start shooting, and ended up getting great results. A few months later he upgraded to a Canon PowerShot SX40 HS, providing somewhat necessary features to him that he needed in a camera. He currently still uses this camera, but hopes to save up for a Canon EOS 70D by selling some unwanted products at his place.

Shadow has used Wikipedia since 2022, but didn't become a user until 2024. Wikipedia was a great help for him when he needed information reliably, and Wikimedia Commons has also helped. He plans to not do much editing except for adding photos to Wikis, also he plans to contribute more once he has better equipment.

Shadow also uses a website called Scratch to post his work and other things. He joined in late 2022 originally from the curiosity to learn to code, but currently uses it as a social platform. He quoted on a reply to a comment "maybe Scratch might be a little toxic sometimes...but I find Scratch to be safer then most social platforms, for it's (sorta) advanced reporting systems.". He currently is banned on Scratch, and doesn't know when he will be unbanned. You can find his account here, but it is unaccusable.
