Any information on Korean Airports?

poezda.net shows a train service between Moscow and Pyongyang via the Russia/DPRK border at Khasan/Tumangan, leaving Moscow on the 11th and 25th of each month. [1] (If the link fails to work, go to www.poezda.net and do an advanced search on train 2.) --Kain 09:14, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No cars?!

[edit]

No cars?! What kind of life is that?! That's what I like best of Europe and Mexico!!--Fluence (talk) 22:39, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not a lot, no. On the plus side, you dont have to worry to much about getting hit by a car. Bonewah (talk) 04:39, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rail transport

[edit]

Most countries have a "Rail transport in" page so I don't know why North Korea doesn't. I intend to move the rail transport text to the rail transport page. Are there any objections? Biscuittin (talk) 16:16, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No objections received. Text moved. Biscuittin (talk) 13:59, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Focus International Is a Dead Website and Might Not Be Credible

[edit]

This article repeatedly cites New Focus International, which is a website that no longer even exists. The founder of the website of New Focus International, Jang Jin-sung was accused but acquitted of raping two women. According to this New York Times article fellow defectors doubted some of his claims about himself. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/17/world/asia/north-korea-metoo-defector.html

I read the archived article and it doesn't pass the smell test. The idea that you can walk up to a traffic cop with a bottle of beer and have them commandeer a car from the North Korean elite is too unlikely for me. So is the idea that it's even easier to buy gas from traffic cops who siphoned the gas as a kind of ticket, instead of just buying gas from a gas station. I think there needs to be another source, like another defector needs to back this up. North Korea might have a system that is corrupt and inefficient, but that doesn't mean you should believe everything you hear when the only source is a simple person. --47.145.107.214 (talk) 07:01, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
