This article repeatedly cites New Focus International, which is a website that no longer even exists. The founder of the website of New Focus International, Jang Jin-sung was accused but acquitted of raping two women. I read the archived article and it doesn't pass the smell test. The idea that you can walk up to a traffic cop with a bottle of beer and have them commandeer a car from the North Korean elite is too unlikely for me. So is the idea that it's even easier to buy gas from traffic cops who siphoned the gas as a kind of ticket, instead of just buying gas from a gas station. I think there needs to be another source, like another defector needs to back this up. North Korea might have a system that is corrupt and inefficient, but that doesn't mean you should believe everything you hear when the only source is a simple person. --47.145.107.214 (talk) 07:01, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
