Official name
[edit]There seems to be some confusion over the official name of this organisation, specifically whether "&" or "and" is used. "Roads & Maritime" is used on the logo, registration papers etc but "Roads and Maritime Services" is used on official documents, websites etc. For example:
- Contact the Minister for Roads, Maritime and Freight
- RMS home page
- RMS "About" page Note the copyright notice at the bottom of the page.
- RMS registrations page
- NSW Government directory at Service NSW
- Roads and Maritime Services entry at Service NSW
- Roads and Maritime Services contact page
Given all this, is there any reason thgis page should not be moved back to Roads and Maritime Services? --AussieLegend (✉) 07:03, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Dissolved?
[edit]If you go to here and specifically this, RMS is still a thing, now under Transport for NSW. So, was it actually dissolved according to legislation or was it made subservient to TfNSW? Cheers. —Darth Tomotron (talk) 03:48, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
According to [1], "All functions and responsibilities will now be performed by TfNSW and any references to Roads and Maritime Services will be legally taken to mean TfNSW automatically".
